Painting on stones is a global phenomenon
it is such a pleasure to cover smooth gorgeous stones in patterns - It is mesmerising
plus - they look fabulous in the house placed in earthy bowls and feature positions
also - you can put essences on them so they smell fabulous
AN INTERIOR DESIGN INVENTION
These patterned rocks look fantastic placed in a feature bowl to enhance your favorite area
we have been putting ours in the cement bowls we make, big ones and small ones - both look great
Everyone deserves a beautiful home full of warmth and love - one of the best ways to create it is with art
This is the sort of art that is unique and personal - you can buy a couple of mine and then add to them with your own - or others you may find
SMOOTH TO THE TOUCH
These stones are being dug out of the earth from farms in South West Australia
They are glacial stones estimateed to be 200 - 300 million years old - some of them are so smooth they feel soft
The mind boggles to think of how long it has taken for the elements to have created such smooth amazing textures
needless to say - they are a precious commodity
MAKE YOUR HOME SMELL BEAUTIFUL
because of the porous nature of the stones - they readily absorb essential oils
So you can use them to add another sensual layer to your home
For this reason I do not use a sealant layer on the stones - if you are buying them to place outside - then it is recommended that you use a matte spray sealant to extend their longetivity - or a gloss one if you prefer
